Great River Bike Trail
The Great River Trail recreational path extends 62 miles from the Quad Cities to Savanna, providing fantastic birding, biking, hiking, running and walking opportunities.
Two-block park located in a neighborhood on the east side of town. A recent face-lift created two new playground areas for ages 2-5 and ages 5-12, basketball court, a paved walking path, and parking.

Mississippi Palisades State Park

This small area describing early settlement in Savanna hosts the monument commemorating the Aaron Pierce family, the first white settlers of Savanna.
Old Mill Park
85-acre Community Park featuring parking concessions, playground area, picnic area and walking trails and restrooms.
Portland Skate Park

Professional Skate Park, open to all skaters. Open dawn to dusk daily. Helmets are mandatory.
Sixth Street Park
Newest addition to Savanna’s park system. 4500 square foot playground was erected in 2003. This park also has a basketball court and picnicking facility.
Upper Mississippi River National Wildlife & Fish Refuge/Ingersoll Wetlands Learning Center
7071 Riverview Road, Thomson
Located just down RT 84 and along the Great River Road is the 55,000 acre wetland area. Enjoy fishing, canoeing, hiking, biking and observation areas.
